Initial project requirements:

City Care in Christchurch New Zealand recently required some sound control for a noisy dewatering pump being used at a construction site in a residential area.

Neighbours from nearby houses had complained to City Care as they were being disturbed and disrupted by the noise.

Flexshield solution:

Flexshield’s NZ branch stepped in and provided Sonic Curtains to surround the pump. These curtains reduced the noise by an outstanding 10-12dB, significantly minimising the impact on neighbouring residents.
