The Sonic System acoustic mobile soundproofing panel is built on top of the Sonic System acoustic modular panel. This panel has the following features:
- A sturdy outer face made of 0.8 mm thick metal
- A mineral wool core with high-density
- An additional sheet metal or visco-elastic core can be added if needed to enhance its performance
- An inner perforated steel sheet with micro-strengthening ribs and five different hole diameters that provide sound absorption over a wider range of frequencies. This helps to avoid visual fatigue caused by holes of a single size.
Sonic System’s high-density rock wool is protected by non-woven glass wool facing that prevents core fibres from exiting the panel. This means the acoustic panels can withstand the rigours of the Australian environment.
