Flexible, durable mobile welding protection
Mobile Weldflex™ welding screens have all the advantages of the Weldflex™ strip and sheet systems. Their strong galvanised or painted steel construction and heavy-duty castors make the mobile screen ideally suited to the rigours of any busy workshop.
The 2mm strip or 1mm sheet fixed to the top of the welding screen frame means that the screen won’t puncture or tear if the mobile frame falls over. Joining several screens together creates a safe mobile welding bay.
You will find WeldflexTM mobile screens in many education facilities, workshops, mine sites and manufacturing facilities across Australia.
Why should you use a WeldflexTM mobile screen?
Flexshield WeldflexTM mobile welding screens are custom made to suit your exact size and environment requirements, or can be supplied in off-the-shelf sizes. The frames simply bolt together and can easily be disassembled if required for compact storage.
The screens’ support feet are angled in at 45° at each end, which means you can easily set the screens at right angles to each other to create a bay or enclosure. The feet and corner sections are also powder-coated in high-vis Safety Yellow, making them more visible, reducing the chance of a tripping hazard, and improving your site safety.
Foot-operated brakes save time and allow for use in windy conditions or on slightly sloping floors.
Both strip and sheet style curtains comply with AS/NZS 3957:2014 standard relating to welding flash protection. Flexshield offers a ten year warranty on the curtains.
Mobile welding screens can be used to:
- Create mobile welding bays
- Create simple welding screen partitions
