Milestones, laughter and the lighter side of life at Flexshield

At Flexshield, 2025 has been about more than just delivering dependable industrial noise control solutions. It’s also been a year of celebrating people, moments, and a few unexpected laughs.

Celebrating our people’s milestones, big and small

From staff marking one year with us to others celebrating an impressive 14 years, 2025 gave us plenty of reasons to pause and acknowledge the dedication that makes the Flexshield Group what it is. Alongside these milestones, we also welcomed new faces to the team and said farewell to others as they began their next chapters.

A competitive streak in the office

If you’ve visited our offices, you’ll know our female team members are fiercely competitive – especially when it comes to winning the monthly Fresh Burst Trophy! Though the contest is all in good fun, the bragging rights are taken very seriously…

Our not-so-secret office cricket

If you ever find yourself chatting with our Accounts Manager, ask her about the office cricket. This little creature has become Flexshield’s unofficial mascot, surprising staff by popping up in different corners of the office.

Stories, laughter and reflection days

Monthly reflection days have given us the chance to enjoy team lunches, share stories, and build connections. We’ve laughed until tears rolled (sometimes at our own expense, like the time one of us broke their glasses while cleaning them, or when another searched the office for her glasses… while wearing them).

Travel stories from our Infrastructure Acoustics Manager added more laughter, with some unforgettable tales from site visits across the country. Meanwhile, our Project Manager and Director of Operations were also busy travelling nationwide to ensure installations went smoothly with minimal disruption to our clients.

Hands-on experience from the factory to the field

This year, some of our factory team members also joined installation crews on-site. After all, who better to install your custom industrial solutions than the very people who built them? It’s another way we keep health, safety, and productivity at the centre of what we do.

New chairs and new skills

In practical news, we finally got new boardroom chairs (although we still need to put them together). More importantly, our team grew not just in size but in capability. We continued sharpening our skills and refining how we deliver solutions, so that every project is built right from the start.
