Welding work does not always take place in a permanent bay. Maintenance tasks, fabrication work and changing production requirements can create a need for screening that can be repositioned around the workshop.
Weldflex™ mobile screens provide a movable barrier around welding activities. Lockable castors allow screens to be moved into position and secured when required, while multiple units can be arranged together where a larger screened area is needed.
The choice between Weldflex™ welding strips and Weldflex™ welding sheet material allows the screen configuration to be selected around access, material handling and workshop requirements.

The Weldflex™ material is attached at the top of the frame, helping keep it clear of floor-level contact and allowing individual material sections to be replaced when required.

Weldflex™ mobile screens are suited to industrial workshops, fabrication facilities, manufacturing plants and maintenance areas where welding activities need to be separated from surrounding work areas.
A mobile screen can suit workshops where welding locations or layouts change and the screening needs to be repositioned. A fixed Welding Bay may be more appropriate for permanent welding stations or larger workshop fitouts.
Weldflex™ mobile screens are available with either 2mm Weldflex™ welding strips or 1mm Weldflex™ welding sheet material. The choice will depend on the workshop layout, access requirements and how materials need to move through the work area.
Yes. Multiple Weldflex™ mobile screens can be positioned together to create a larger screened welding area. Angled support feet allow screens to be arranged at right angles where required.
Yes. Screen dimensions and configurations can be adapted to suit workshop requirements. Providing Flexshield with dimensions, photographs or a workshop layout will help establish what is required.
Yes. The frames are fitted with industrial-strength castors so they can be repositioned as workshop requirements change. Lockable castors secure the screen once it is in position.
Yes. Weldflex™ mobile screens can be considered alongside Welding Bays, welding tables, FlexWeld floor mats and safe welding fume extraction when planning an industrial welding or fabrication area.
