Acoustic noise control in food production areas
High-noise equipment is common in food manufacturing facilities, including packaging lines, filling equipment, conveyors, and refrigeration plant. Acoustic enclosures, barriers, and panels can be applied around individual machines or across production bays to reduce noise levels at the source or at the point of reception.
Flexshield acoustic products used in food manufacturing environments are selected with hygienic performance in mind. Where washdown is required, materials and surface finishes are specified accordingly.
Production zone separation and contamination control
SonicClear PVC screens and barriers, and flexible PVC strip curtains are used across food manufacturing facilities to separate production zones, limit contamination pathways, and maintain temperature in cold storage and chilled processing areas.
These products allow personnel and equipment to move freely between zones without compromising separation. Visibility is maintained, which supports both supervision and site safety.
HACCP-aligned environments
Flexshield products can be specified for use in HACCP-aligned production environments. Product selection, materials, and installation methods can be configured for food-safe applications where required. Flexshield does not claim HACCP certification for its products unless that status has been independently verified for a specific project.
