Weldflex™ welding strip curtains provide flexible separation between welding work areas while protecting nearby students, teachers, and equipment from welding flash and sparks.
The semi-transparent PVC strip design maintains visibility across the workshop, supporting teacher supervision without restricting access.
Weldflex™ welding strip curtains can be supplied as a standalone product or incorporated into a Complete acoustic welding bay, depending on the requirements of your Trade Training Centre project. Whether you’re upgrading existing welding bays or planning a new workshop, they provide a practical way to define work areas while maintaining flexibility for future changes.
Weldflex™ welding strip curtains are manufactured using high-quality PVC formulated for welding applications.
Weldflex™ welding strip curtains are manufactured using products supported by recognised testing and quality management standards.
Documentation is available to support specification and procurement, including compliance with recognised AS/NZS standards, ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, AS4801 Occupational Health and Safety and supporting technical documentation.

Weldflex™ strip curtains can be used to separate welding work areas in new workshops, upgrades and replacement projects. They can be supplied as a standalone product or incorporated into a Complete acoustic welding bay, depending on the workshop layout and project requirements.
The semi-transparent PVC strips maintain visibility across the workshop while helping protect surrounding students, teachers and equipment from welding flash and sparks. Their flexible design also allows access between work areas without requiring a fixed partition.
Yes. Individual strips can be replaced, allowing damaged or worn sections to be changed without replacing the entire curtain assembly. This makes Weldflex™ strip curtains suitable for workshop upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
Project teams should identify the installation location, required strip width and thickness, curtain height and length, and quantity. The specification schedule also allows you to indicate whether the curtains are required as a standalone product or as part of a Complete acoustic welding bay, along with supply-only or supply and installation preferences. Flexshield can assist with product selection and specification documentation.
Weldflex™ strip curtains are manufactured from AS/NZS 3957-compliant material, with testing information covering welding flash protection, UV resistance, fire retardancy, light transmission and material durability. Product data sheets, detailed test reports and supporting technical documentation are available on request. Applicable testing and compliance requirements should be confirmed during specification.
