Sonic acoustic curtain absorption test report

Download the RMIT University laboratory test report for the Flexshield Sonic acoustic curtain to review absorption coefficient data across tested frequency bands.

What you’ll find in the report

  • Absorption coefficient data from 100Hz to 5000Hz
  • Results measured in a reverberation room
  • Testing completed in accordance with AS ISO 354-2006
  • Laboratory testing completed by RMIT University’s Applied Acoustics Laboratory
  • NATA-accredited testing under accreditation number 1421
  • Details of the tested sample configuration and installation
  • 95% confidence intervals for each measured absorption coefficient

The report documents laboratory testing of the Flexshield Sonic acoustic curtain to determine its absorption coefficients in a reverberation room. Testing was completed by RMIT University’s Applied Acoustics Laboratory in accordance with AS ISO 354-2006.

The tested sample was installed with no air gap beneath the curtain and with the PVC mesh face exposed to the test field. The report provides absorption coefficient results from 0.29 at 100Hz through to 0.93 at 5000Hz, with results reported across the full tested frequency range.
