Ashmore TAFE Trade Training Centre

Flexshield delivered a full turn-key welding bay fitout that transformed safety and workflow. The project included 18 acoustic welding bays, a teacher’s demo bay, grinding room, downdraft benches, mats, trolleys, quench tanks, fume extraction and more, all completed in six weeks.

The result: a spacious, safe, compliant, and productive facility.

La Trobe University Engineering Hub

Here, our Sonic System acoustic enclosure, Sonic Access acoustic doors, and Sonic Series acoustic louvres not only reduced noise and welding flash but also enhanced verbal communication and aesthetic appeal. The site foreman praised Flexshield’s seamless installation and the high-quality outcome.

Pimlico State High School (Townsville)

We supplied rugged Weldflex™ and SonicClear strip curtains along with telescopic fume arms, safeguarding students from burns, tears, and inhalation hazards during welding and grinding. The school reported excellent performance and ease of installation.

Outdoor Equipment Manufacturer (Gold Coast)

Flexshield created a custom facility featuring 11 welding bays and 7 grinding bays using Sonic Econo panels, Weldflex™ curtains and mobiles, and SonicClear PVC curtains. The bays included supervisor view windows and noise-dampening roofs. Installation was completed in just eight days over two phases.

Digga Australia (QLD)

Our UV-stable yellow PVC strip curtain kits helped reduce noise, contain dust, and define work zones, all while allowing safe, efficient movement of forklifts and personnel. According to our client, “Flexshield made this an easy process from start to finish.”

JRS Manufacturing Group (Toowoomba)

Wivenhoe Power Station (CS Energy, QLD)

We tackled extreme turbine room noise using V100 Sonic System acoustic modular panels, Rw46 acoustic doors, and Calando ceiling panels. The installation improved communication and reduced sick days due to noise fatigue.

Custom Enclosure for Geofabrics (Molendinar & Ormeau, QLD)

To address noise complaints near residential zones, Flexshield repurposed existing elements and built a new acoustic enclosure using V100 Sonic System acoustic modular panels and Sonic Access doors. The result was a quieter, more productive workplace, designed and installed over 5–6 months.
