Sonic System acoustic modular soundproofing panels

Sonic System acoustic modular panels deliver premium noise control with up to Rw 45dB sound insulation and superior absorption. Their modular, heavy-duty design features perforated steel for optimal performance. Sonic System wall panels are independently tested at NATA-accredited Australian laboratories. Full performance data is available on request for any panel in the range.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels combine steel construction, a high-density Rockwool core and interlocking panel connections for industrial noise control applications. The range is designed for applications including acoustic walls, equipment enclosures, welding and grinding areas, test cells and other locations where noise attenuation and absorption are required.

Superior Noise Control
  • Perforated internal face with multiple hole diameters for optimised sound absorption across the frequency range
  • Solid external face on the V50, V100 and V100SP for maximum noise reduction and durability
  • Engineered to absorb noise on the perforated face and attenuate transmission through the panel. The V225 is perforated on both faces for absorption from either side.

Modular & Easy Installation
  • Interlocking tongue-and-groove panel system for rapid assembly, with fewer fixings than a fixed-face build
  • Self-supporting design minimises structural steelwork requirements
  • Precision-engineered steel interconnecting joints for secure, reliable connections

High-Performance Acoustic Core
  • High-density Rockwool insulation (70kg/m³) for superior sound absorption and attenuation
  • Rockwool is a mineral. There is nothing in it to rot, nothing to feed mould or mildew, and nothing to attract vermin.
  • Chemically neutral volcanic Rockwool ensures long-term durability

Versatile Industrial Applications

Tested & Compliant
  • Independently tested to AS ISO 354, AS 1191-2002, AS/NZS ISO 717.1, AS 1530.1, AS/NZS 1530.3 and AS 1530.4-2014, with acoustic testing carried out at NATA-accredited Australian laboratories
  • FRL -/120/- to AS 1530.4-2014
  • Available in multiple performance variants (V50, V100, V100SP, V225)

Built to Last
  • Pre-coated durable finish for Australian climate resilience
  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications
  • Minimal maintenance requirements
  • Excellent return on investment

Questions people ask about Sonic System acoustic modular soundproofing panels

For more information about Sonic System acoustic modular panels or to request a customised quote, please get in touch with us directly. Our team will happily assist you with your soundproofing needs and provide expert guidance tailored to your project requirements.

Yes, Sonic System acoustic modular panels are designed for easy disassembly and reassembly, allowing for flexibility in layout and configuration. They can be moved or rearranged as needed without compromising their performance.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels are measured at Rw 24 to Rw 45 for sound insulation and NRC 0.80 to 1.10 for absorption, depending on the panel. Testing is carried out at NATA-accredited Australian laboratories and full performance data is available on request.

The Rockwool core is water-repellent and vapour-open – its vapour diffusion resistance factor is 1 to EN 13162, the same as still air – so moisture passes through rather than being held in the panel. Behind the perforated face sits a non-woven glass fibre anti-defibration and anti-wicking mat, specified to stop water being drawn into the core. Panels install vertically, so any water reaching the face runs down and drains out.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels feature a modular tongue-and-groove style, allowing quick and hassle-free installation. They can be easily clipped together to cover large areas efficiently.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels can be conveniently cut to fit your application’s size and requirements. Whether you need specific dimensions, colours, or additional features, customisation options are available.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels are non-combustible by test to AS 1530.1 and achieve FRL -/120/- to AS 1530.4-2014 in the tested wall assembly. Tested to AS/NZS 1530.3 they returned Ignitability 0, Spread of Flame 0, Heat Evolved 0 and Smoke Developed 1, so they make no contribution to fire load.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels are ideal for various applications, including soundproof enclosures, engine test cells, dyno booths, and generator enclosures. They can easily be tailored to fit specific project requirements.

Unlike traditional methods, such as heavy construction or foam insulation, Sonic System acoustic modular panels offer a lightweight and modular solution. They are easy to install, highly adaptable, and provide excellent acoustic performance.

Sonic System acoustic modular panels are prefabricated acoustic panels designed to block noise transmission and absorb reflected sound. They offer versatile solutions for various applications, ensuring quieter environments.
